Yay!!! SO Many Plus Size Patterns!

Since I started this blog several years ago, the knitting world has learned that we NEED plus size knitting patterns.

I've noticed that now there are LOTS of plus size knitting patterns available. Unfortunately, there are still some companies that continue to ignore us. But, for the most part, everyone else has caught on. As I've said before, "Plus size patterns require more yarn.....HELLO yarn shops!" I think they finally realized that they will make a lot more money off of us. (tee-hee)

One of my goals for this summer is to scrounge the internet for more free patterns for us. I'd also like to update our listing....deleting links that no longer work.

So, keep checking back. I promise to get this taken care of soon.

Thank you all for your amazing patience! Happy knitting!! :D

Just found your blog! Thanks for rounding up all of these patterns for those of us in "halter" condition, as my horsey friends say. LOL

I haven't been able to locate the pattern for the "Saguaro" top, designed by Kennita Tully. I don't have access to the Spring 2005 issue of Knitter's Magazine. Can anyone help by providing a link to the printed pattern? Thanks!

Hi Nancy. I've never seen the pattern anywhere else. You might be able to get a back issue from Knitter's Magazine. Good luck!

Lion Brand Yarn's web site has a sweater called Weekend Retreat Cardi and I am knitting it now, it is very cute and not complicated to knit...check it out...it's free.
