Another Lovely Plus Size Knitting Project

I just finished knitting this lovely "Alpaca Leaf Pullover" this week. Love it!
Alpaca Leaf Pullover Complete 4

The pattern is in the "All Alpaca" pattern book by Bernat Yarns. I used their Alpaca Natural Blends yarn to make the sweater, and it went quickly - I completed it in one month. Nice!

  11. This is my first time to your website and I am really excited to find oversize patterns that look great!
I use to be thin and could wear anything so my knitted creations always looked good. Now I am trying to find more styles that drape over the body to hide figure flaws. Thank you for giving me hope and motivation to knit again!

  12. loved the 'leaf' sweater, bought the downloaded book, set to work with #9 ndls...bernat alpaca yarn and the 80 sts for the neckband wouldn't go over my head...i normally knit loosely so this has never been a problem before...did you truly use the 80 st cast on for your neckband?

  13. Hi Dee!

I cast on 70 stitches for my neckline, because mine is a size 2/3x. It stretches out as you are knitting, with the lace design at the top.
